Getting to Pisa
By plane
Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is very close to the city centre – only a few minutes’ drive by bus or taxi.
You can buy bus tickets from the information desk in the arrivals hall or from the ticket machine located at the bus terminal. The bus (Red Line or LAM Rossa to-S.Jacopo) has a regular service every 10-15’ and gets you to Piazza dei Miracoli in about 15’.
Alternatively, a taxi to the city centre will cost you around € 8-10.
By train
Pisa Centrale is on the Genova/Roma railway line and has regular train services to and from Florence and Lucca.
From the station you can easily reach the city centre by bus (Red Line or LAM Rosso to S.Jacopo) or taxi (around € 6-8).
