Due novità da tenere presenti:
1. per i Master/Dottorati sono presenti solo 2 categorie: All Disciplines e AFAM. Il concorso Fulbright Law è convogliato nel concorso in All Disciplines
2. per la ricerca, per Visiting Scholar, è presente un nuovo concorso che permette un soggiorno di ricerca alla Seton Hall University: Fulbright Research Lectureship in the Sciences, Business and Communications per effettuare soggiorni di ricerca/insegnamento negli USA, aperta a ricercatori universitari a tempo determinato o indeterminato, professori a contratto, professori associati, professori ordinari. I candidati possono avere affiliazione presso centri di ricerca/università italiani/europei.
The Department of Philology, Literature and Linguistics (Filologia, Letteratura e Linguistica) of the University of Pisa, in collaboration with the Centro Interuniversitario di documentazione sul Pensiero Economico Italiano (CIPEI, https://cipei.unipi.it/), offers some traineeships of the duration of (minimum) 4 months to master’s students or young graduates enrolled in European universities members of Erasmus+ mobility program.
The project will be hosted by the LEXECON research pr ogram, recently awarded by an Italian national research grant (PRIN). The trainee will contribute to the creation of a bibliographical database and a specialized corpus of digital texts on economics that were published between the eighteenth and twentieth centuries. The texts that will be considered for the project are published in one of the following languages:
• Italian
• English
• French
• German
• Spanish
• Portuguese
The trainee will experience a lively multidisciplinary atmosphere of research, combining economics, history, and linguistics. Under the guidance of the Department’s researchers, he/she will follow the whole chain of construction of a digital corpus of texts and learn the computer-assisted techniques of:
• production of a bibliographic record and its metadata
• processing of annotated digital texts: scanning, OCR recognition, error cleaning, mark-up
and linguistic annotation
• linguistic analysis of texts
Although the activities focus on economic texts, the skills acquired are transferable to all humanities
and social sciences.
We encourage applications from master’s students and young graduates in:
• linguistics
• European literatures
• humanities (history, philosophy, anthropology, digital humanities)
• economic sciences
• political and social sciences
• computer science
The trainee will be based at the CIPEI premises (Department of Economics and Management, Via Cosimo Ridolfi 10, Pisa), but in case of force majeur or for limited periods, he/she can also work remotely.
Internship eligible languages:
• English or Italian (at least B1) for communication
• Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (at least C1) for research-related activities

L’Università di Pisa con la Fondazione ISSNAF (Italian Scientists and Scholars in North America Foundation), bandisce un concorso per l’attribuzione di 9 borse per periodi di studio e ricerca in Nord America rivolte a studenti iscritti a un Corso di Laurea Magistrale o Dottorato di Ricerca dell’Università di Pisa.
La domanda può essere presentata sino al 30 giugno 2023, secondo le modalità indicate nel bando Bando ISSNAF 2023
Scade il 15 maggio 2023 alle ore 12:00 il termine per presentare domanda per il bando “Tesi all’estero 2023” che mette a disposizione un contributo di euro 2.000 per supportare una mobilità internazionale (anche extraUE) finalizzata alle ricerche per la propria tesi di laurea.
I requisiti per presentare la candidatura sono i seguenti:
essere iscritti ad un corso di laurea magistrale ed in regola con il pagamento delle tasse;
aver conseguito almeno 60 cfu alla data di scadenza del bando;
essere assegnatari di un argomento di tesi di laurea
